Important Message
Please note that if you try to edit or change a page NOT created with a Java Script Template you will get a warning telling you that it was not created with the Java Script Template. If you choose to still edit that page you will start with a new page and your existing page will be wiped clean! To avoid any problems we suggest that you ONLY edit pages made originally with the Java Script Template.
Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.
- To get to the Personal Web Page Wizard, go to:
http://publish.att.net/cgi-bin/jsedit?flavor=wizard - You will be asked to authenticate. Enter your e-mail id in the first section.
Example: If your e-mail address is : johndoe@worldnet.att.net, then your e-mail id would be johndoe - In the next box, enter your e-mail password, then click the Submit button. Remember, the e-mail password is case sensitive.
- Here you can either choose a file that you have already created or you can create a new file. Note: if you are creating a Web page for the first time, this window will not appear; you will go directly to the Personal Web Page Wizard start page.
- You are now in the editing area. This is where you will create your wonderful masterpiece. We recommend that you name your file index.htm or index.html. Always remember to add the .htm or .html extension to the name of your file.
The left side of the screen is where you will make all the choices for your page. The right side is a preview of the page you are creating. Click the Next button to begin. - This is the first step to creating your actual page. Here you will choose a background and the text, link and visited link colors. Note: You can NOT add a background that you've uploaded from your hard drive while using the Personal Web Page Wizard. We recommend that you use the Quick Template instead if you wish to do this.
- If you want to choose one of the pre-selected backgrounds, select one from the Background Tile drop-down menu. You'll be presented with a list of choices.

- You can also choose a solid color for your background from the Colors drop-down menu. To choose a solid color, click the color you want from the color grid. A preview will show up on the right. Follow the same process to choose the color of your text color, link color, and visited link color.

- If your are satisfied with your choices click the Next button. Note: you can always go back and make changes by clicking on the Back button.
- The next step is to put something on your page. We have gone ahead and placed a title and an image on the page to give you an example.
- In the left hand section you have a number of items which you can place on your page. As you can see we have put in a heading and an image. Next we will add a link as indicated above.
- Enter in the text you want for your link and the URL that you want to link to. Enter in the URL for your link. You can change your font, size, and alignment. When you are happy with what you have, click the Next button and you will be taken back to the choice screen. Continue in this process adding text, images, e-mail etc. until you have your page completed. If you want to add an image to your page, you can choose from one of those provided by AT&T Worldnet Service, or one that you have already uploaded to your Web site. When you're happy with your results click the Publish button to publish your page.
