FrontPage 2003

This page was designed for AT&T Worldnet personal Web page members who are trying to use FrontPage 2003 to create, edit, and/or publish their Web pages to their PWP @att.net Web site via a Worldnet dial-up connection.

Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.

Access to the AT&T Worldnet PWP servers from another ISP is now available and Front Page 2003 is the first version that will work with our secure servers using a helper application called TLS. If you are accessing the PWP servers from another ISP such as DSL or cable, please see instructions for configuring FrontPage 2003 with TLS Wrapper.

When your Web site is ready to publish:

  1. Launch FrontPage 2003 and open your Web site.
  2. From the File menu, choose Publish Site...

  3. Choose the FTP option. In the Remote Web site location field, enter ftp://upload.att.net or ftp://upload.worldnet.att.net should you have any problems connecting.

  4. Front Page will publish all files by default. If you wish to only upload changed pages, you may select that option on the Publishing tab.

  5. Click the Publish or OK button.
  6. At this point, you should get asked for your name and nassword, fill in the following fields:
    • Name: Your e-mail ID (the part to the left of the @ sign)
    • Password: Your e-mail password

  7. The following window will open, with the files on your hard drive showing on the left, and the files on the AT&T Worldnet PWP server (if any) showing on the right. Click the Publish Web site button in the lower right hand corner to upload your files.

  8. A status bar will display the upload process and a confirmation status under Last publish status will appear when the transfer is completed.
