Filezilla for PWP @att.net
Filezilla - For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs
These instructions are for using Filezilla FTP to publish your Web pages from your hard drive to the AT&T Worldnet Personal Web Page servers using a secure connection from a high-speed connection or while connected to another ISP. A secure connection is required to access the PWP servers with high-spped or from another ISP.
- Download and install Filezilla.
- From the File menu, choose Site Manager.
- Create a new PWP site by choosing the New Site button and completing the information as shown:
- Host: upload.att.net
- Port: 21
- Servertype: FTP over SSL (explicit encryption)
- Logontype: Normal
- User: Your e-mail ID (the part before the @ sign)
- Password: Your e-mail password
- Press the Advanced button and select Use passive mode. Click on the OK button.
- Save and exit.
To connect, open the site manager and click on the Connect button or choose your PWP site from the drop down:

Note: The quick connect toolbar will not work on access from the Internet because SSL cannot be set up. You must use the method above to access the site manager.
Filezilla with Dialup
- Download and install Filezilla.
- From the File menu, choose Site Manager.
- Create a new PWP site by choosing the New Site button and completing the information as shown:
- Host: upload.att.net
- Port: 21
- Servertype: FTP
- Logontype: Normal
- User: Your e-mail ID (the part before the @ sign)
- Password: Your e-mail password
- Save and Exit.
To connect, open the site manager and click on the Connect button or choose your PWP site from the drop-down menu:
Note: The quick connect toolbar may be used in addition to the drop down and site manager over dial up:

You must use the method above to access the site manager.
