BulletProof FTP for PWP @att.net
This document contains information on configuring BulletProof FTP for uploading to AT&T Worldnet Service PWP.
Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.
You can also use this application to backup your Web site.
- Open the Site Manager from the Main menu. Fill in the following information:
- Site Name: Put whatever you wish here. We used AT&T Worldnet in the example below.
- Initial Local Directory: The location of your Web site on your hard drive.
For example: C:\MyWeb - Site Address: upload.att.net or upload.worldnet.att.net
- Initial Remote Directory: Leave this blank
- Login: your e-mail ID (the part to the left of the @ sign)
- Password: your e-mail password

- From the Options menu, choose the General tab, and make sure the following is set:
- Time out settings: You may leave them at the default settings.
- E-mail address: Your e-mail address

- Select the Toggles tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.
- Select the Firewall tab and make sure that there is a check mark next to Use passive mode. Leave everything else unchecked.

- Select the Events tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.

- Select the Viewing tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.

- Select the Sound tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.

- Select the Uploading tab. Set the Default upload action to Overwrite, Ask or Skip, according to your personal preference. The AT&T Worldnet servers do not support resuming the upload of a file, so don't select Resume. Set the Filename conversion options according to your personal preference.

- Select the Fonts tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.
- Select the Other tab. Make changes here according to your personal preferences.
- Leave the contents of Speed tab at the default setting and Click the OK button.
- Click the Connect button as shown below.
If you designated an Initial Local Directory in Step 1, the contents of that directory should show on the left. The contents of your Web site (if any) on the AT&T Worldnet personal Web page server will show on the right. To publish, transfer the files on the left to the AT&T Worldnet personal Web server shown in the right panel. To backup your Web site just reverse that procedure and transfer the files from the AT&T Worldnet personal Web server to your hard drive.
