Setting-up Windows XP for AT&T PPoE Dynamic DSL

 

1. From the Start menu, choose Control Panel.

 

2. Double click Network Connections.

 

3. Under Network Tasks, click the Create a new connection link.

 

4. The Network Connection Wizard will open. Click the Next button.

 

5. Select Connect to the Internet, then click Next.

 

6. Select Set up my connection manually, then click Next.

 

7. Select Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password. Click Next.

 

8. On the Connection Name screen, enter AT&T DSL in the ISP name field. Click Next.

 

9. On the Internet Account Information screen, enter the username and password and confirm the password.

Note: The username must be your full Network ID - UserID@worldnet.att.net. Click Next.

 

10. The Completing the New Connection Wizard screen will be displayed.

Place a check next to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop option and click Finish.

 

11. The connection box will appear. Click Connect to access the Internet.
