Testing Your Dial-up Connection Throughput
Have you ever wondered if your throughput is the best that it can be with your dial-up connection? We've devised a test that can check it for you.
Go to the throughput test.
Note: Due to incompatibilities between the Macintosh and our WURD java script, the results of the throughput test a Mac user sees may not be accurate when using MSIE 5.x and/or NS 4.7+.
Here are two places Mac users can go to check throughput:
- The Bandwidth Place Speed Test
(Be sure to select the low bandwidth test unless you are using DSL or Cable.) - The McAfee Internet Connection Speedometer
