Configuring Software for AT&T Worldnet Service
If you're computer savvy enough to configure your software without any help, check the configuration information below. If you think you might need a little help, we have complete illustrated instructions for configuring a number of Operating Systems, Browsers, News Clients, Mail Clients, Chat Clients, FTP program, Telnet programs and more. You might want to print the instructions for later reference.
We have instructions for using Stunnel, TLS Wrapper, and Mac OS X SSL Enabler with AT&T Worldnet Service. These programs let you use a non-ssl client to get e-mail and news over a secure connection. SSL is required to reach the AT&T Worldnet iNet e-mail and news servers from another ISP.
