Pocket PC 2003 Inbox - For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs

To configure Pocket PC 2003 Inbox for For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs:

1. From the Pocket PC main menu, tap Inbox.
2. Tap Services (or Account if Services is not listed).
3. Select New Account.
4. Enter your e-mail address.
5. Tap the Next button
6. Let the auto-configuration run. After it completes, tap the Next button.
7. Complete the following fields:
   • Your name: your name as you want it to appear in your e-mail.
   • User name: your AT&T Worldnet user name (everything before the @ in your e-mail address.
   • Password: your e-mail password
8. Select the Save Password box unless you wish to be prompted when you get your mail.
9. Tap the Next button.
10. From the Service type drop-down menu, chose POP3.
11. In the Name field enter a name for the account.
12. Tap the Next button.
13. Enter the Server Information:
    • Incoming Mail: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:995
    • Outgoing Mail: imailhost.worldnet.att.net:465
    • Domain: Please leave this blank.
14. Tap the Options button.
15. If you wish to have your e-mail checked periodically, select the Check for messages every xx minutes option.
16. For the Connection, leave it at the default.
17. Tap the Next button.
18. Choose the Outgoing server requires authentication option.
19. Choose the Require SSL connection option.
20. Tap the Next button.
21. Select to Get message header only or Get full copy of messages according to your preference.
22. Tap the Finish button.
23. Select this account on the Accounts menu.
24. Tap the Send Receive icon on the bottom of the screen.
