Outlook 2007 - For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs
Accessing your e-mail from another ISP requires an application that supports SSL. Note: You can't use an Anti-Virus e-mail check while downloading with a server that requires SSL. Please read this additional information.
Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.
To configure Microsoft Outlook for For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs:
- Launch Microsoft Outlook.
- From the Tools menu, choose Account Settings

- On the E-mail tab, click New.

- Select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click Next

- Select Internet E-mail. Click Next

- Fill in the following information:
- Your Name: Enter the name you wish recipients to see when they receive your message.
- Email Address: This is the address that your contacts' email program will reply to your messages.
This is also the address that will get recorded in your contacts' address book if they add you as a contact. - Account Type: POP3
- Incoming mail server: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): imailhost.worldnet.att.net
- User Name: Enter your fully qualified email address. (EmailID@worldnet.att.net)
- Password: If you wish for Outlook to save your password, check the box labeled "Remember Password"
and enter your password in the text field. - Click the More Settings button.

- Click on the Outgoing Server tab, and check the box labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP)
requires authentication." Then choose to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

- Click on the Advanced tab.
- Under "Incoming Server (POP3)," check the box labeled "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)."
The port number should be set to 995. - Under "Outgoing Server (SMTP)," for the setting entitled "Use the following type of encrypted connection,"
choose SSL from the drop-down menu. The port number should be set to 465. - Click OK

- Under "Incoming Server (POP3)," check the box labeled "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)."
- Click Finish. Outlook is now configured to send and receive mail.
