MS Internet Mail Wizard and AT&T Worldnet Service
Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.
To use the MS Internet Mail Wizard:
- Once you have installed MS Internet Mail, double-click the Internet Mail icon on your desktop. It will bring up a screen that will ask for your name and e-mail address, just fill it in.
- Next it asks for you Incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) server address.
- POP3 address: postoffice.worldnet.att.net
- SMTP address: mailhost.worldnet.att.net
- Next it will ask for you e-mail account and password. Your e-mail account is the e-mail ID you chose when you signed up for AT&T Worldnet Service. Your password is the password you chose when you registered (in other words not the long, complex thing AT&T Worldnet Service chose).
- On this step all you need to do is decide whether or not to make it your default. If you want it to come up when you choose a mail link while using a Web browser, choose Yes.
- The only thing left is to hit the finish button and begin!
