Download IncrediMail - For High-speed Connections & Other ISPs

Note: You must be using at least build 814 of this application to use it to get your e-mail from another ISP. Also, you can't use the Norton 2000/2001 e-mail virus check while downloading with a server that requires SSL. Please read this additional information.

Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.


To configure a new account:

  1. With IncrediMail open, from the Tools menu, choose Accounts.

  2. Click the Add button to add your new e-mail account.

  3. Select the Let me configure settings myself option, and click the Next button.

  4. Enter your name and your e-mail address. Click the Next button.

  5. Enter the server information as follows, and then click the Next button.
    • Incoming mail server: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
    • Outgoing mail server: imailhost.worldnet.att.net

  6. Enter the server information as follows, and then click the Next button.
    • Username: Your e-mail ID (the part before the @ sign)
    • Password: Your e-mail password

  7. You'll see this window while your servers are being verified.

  8. After the servers are verified, you'll see this window. Click the OK button.

  9. You aren't finished yet. You have to set the options to use SSL for the servers. Continue with Account Properties below.

To review account properties:

  1. With IncrediMail open, from the Tools menu, select Accounts.

  2. Highlight your e-mail account, and click the Properties button.

  3. Select the General tab:
    • Account Name: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
    • Display Name: Your Name
    • E-mail address: Your e-mail address
    • Reply address: You can leave this blank
    • Include this account when receiving mail: Checked

  4. Select the Servers tab:
    • Incoming mail server: ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
    • Outgoing mail server: imailhost.worldnet.att.net
    • Username: emailid (the part before the @ sign)
    • Password: Your e-mail password
  5. Check the My server requires authentication option and click the Settings button.

  6. Select the Log on using option, complete the information as follows, and then click the OK button:
    • Username: emailid@worldnet.att.net
    • Password: Your e-mail password

  7. Select the Advanced tab. This should show the ports as follows:
    • Outgoing mail (SMTP): 465
    • Incoming mail (POP3): 995
