Ximian Evolution and AT&T Worldnet Service

To configure Evolution:

1. From the Tools menu, choose Settings.
2. Click Mail Accounts icon on the left pane.
3. Click the Add button. The Evolution Account Assistant Wizard will then appear.
   
4. Click the Forward button.
5. Specify your full name in the Full name field and your e-mail address in the Email address field.
   
6. Click the Forward button.
7. For Server Type, choose POP.
   
8. In the Host field, enter ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:995.
9. In the Usename field, enter your AT&T Worldnet User Name (everything before the @ in your e-mail address)
10. For Authentication Type, choose Password.
11. Select the Remember this Password option.
12. Click the Forward button.
13. Choose the options based on your preferences.
    
14. Click the Forward button.
15. For Server Type, choose SMTP.
    
16. In the Host field, enter imailhost.worldnet.att.net:465.
17. For Authentication Type, choose CRAM-MD5.
18. In the Usename field, enter your AT&T Worldnet User Name (everything before the @ in your e-mail address)
19. Select the Remember this Password option.
20. Click the Forward button.
21. On the next screen, you can specify a descriptive name for this account in the Name field.
    
22. Click the Forward button.
    
23. Click the Apply button.
