Download Calypso and AT&T Worldnet Service

In addition to allowing multiple mailboxes, Calypso allows you to have multiple accounts per mailbox. You can set up an account from the Mailbox Wizard, or through the menu. Follow the procedures below to set up your account.

Note: You will need to find your AT&T Worldnet Service account information.


To configure Calypso accounts:

  1. Enter a name for the account, the name you want to see on your e-mail, and your e-mail address for the account in the boxes shown below. When you have finished click the Next button.

  2. Make sure that the POP3 box is selected, then enter your user name in the User ID field. Your user name is the information to the left of the @ sign in your e-mail address. Enter postoffice.worldnet.att.net as the name of the incoming mail server. Click the Next button.

  3. Enter your e-mail password in the boxes below. Also fill in the boxes for your e-mail address. Click the Next button.

  4. We recommend that you check the box to delete your e-mail from the server after it is retrieved. Click the Next button to continue.

  5. Enter mailhost.worldnet.att.net as the name of the SMTP mail server and then click the Next button.

  6. You have now configured your account. Click the Properties button to set additional preferences.

  7. Click on each of the tabs to set your preferences for each item. After you are finished, click the OK button.

  8. You have now finished configuring your account. You can either click the Add Account button to configure another account, or Click the Finish button.

  9. Now, you are ready to check your e-mail! Have fun!
