Download MSN Messenger for Windows and AT&T Worldnet Service

To configure MSN Messenger for Windows:

  1. Download, install, and then launch MSN Messenger.
  2. Click the Sign In button.

  3. Complete the following:
    • In the Sign-in Name field, enter your .NET passport sign-in name. All Hotmail and MSN Network e-mail addresses should already have a .NET passport assigned to them. If you do not have one of these e-mail addresses, you can get a .NET passport for your own e-mail address by clicking the Get One Here link.
    • In the Password field, enter your passport password.
    • If you like, MSN Messenger will remember your name and password. Just select the Remember my name and password on this computer option.
    Click the OK button.

  4. Now you will need to add people to your contact list. Just click the Add a Contact button and follow the Add a Contact wizard. Once you have people in your list, double-click on anyone listed as online to start a chat.
