iChat and AT&T Worldnet Service

To configure iChat:
- Launch iChat.
- Click the Continue button.
- Enter your first and last name in the appropriate fields. You can, for privacy sake, use an alias.
- To use a Mac.com Account (the default):
- In the Account Name field, enter your Mac.com account. name
- In the Password field, enter your Mac.com password.
- To use an AIM Account:
- From the Account Type drop-down menu, choose AIM Account.
- In the Account Name field, enter your AIM account name.
- In the Password field, enter your AIM password.
- To use a Mac.com Account (the default):
- Select the Do not use Rendezvous messaging option. Click the Continue button.
- If you have an iChat compatible camera attached to your Mac it will show up here. Video chat will only work on high-speed connections such as DSL and cable. Click the Continue button.
- Click the Done button.
- Anyone in your OS X Address Book that has a Mac.com or AIM account listed in their contact information will automatically appear in your Buddy List. If you wish to add someone manually; from the Buddies menu, choose Add a Buddy...
- There you are, ready to go. Just double-click a buddy to start a chat.
