Download AIM and AT&T Worldnet Service

To configure AIM:

  1. Download and install AIM.
    Note: You will need a screen name to download the software. If you don't have one, you are given the option of creating one before you download the program. After installation, the registration wizard will launch automatically.
  2. Enter your screen name, and click the OK button.

  3. Enter you password. Select the Save password option and the Auto login option according to your preference. Click the Sign On button.

  4. It is easy to add someone to your buddy list. From the People menu, choose Find a Buddy Wizard. Follow the wizard to add some friends.

  5. Once you have people in your list, double-click on anyone listed as online to start a chat.
