Adium and AT&T Worldnet Service
Adium allows you to use multiple existing chat service accounts in one convenient place. You must have already created your accounts with the services you wish to use before using Adium. Adium will not create these accounts for you. Adium supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Trepia, and Napster.

To configure Adium:
In this example we are going to add AIM, MSN, and Yahoo accounts. Adding other accounts use the same process and is just as easy.
- Download, install, and launch Adium.
- We're going to start with an AIM, ICQ, or .Mac account:
- From the Account Type drop-down menu, choose AIM, ICQ, and .Mac.
- In the User Name field, enter your AIM, ICQ, or .Mac user name.
- In the Password field, enter your AIM, ICQ, or .Mac password.
- Select the Connect when Adium opens option.
- Click the Connect button.
- Now to add a MSN account:
- From the Account Type drop-down menu, choose MSN.
- In the User Name field, enter your Passport user name.
- In the Password field, enter your Passport password.
- In the Alias field, enter a nickname for yourself.
- Select the Connect when Adium opens option.
- Click the Connect button.
- Now to add a Yahoo account:
- From the Account Type drop-down menu, choose Yahoo!.
- In the User Name field, enter your Yahoo user name.
- In the Password field, enter your Yahoo password.
- Select the Connect when Adium opens option.
- Click the Connect button.
- Close the Preferences window.
- If you wish to add a contact, from the Contact menu, choose Add Contact....
- Complete the following:
- From the Contact Type drop-down menu, choose the service that your contact uses.
- In the Contact Name field, enter the name your contact uses with the service.
- Click the Add button.
- There you are, ready to go. Just double-click a buddy to start a chat.
