Netscape 4.7x and AT&T Worldnet Service

To configuring Offline preferences:

From the Edit menu choose Preferences, and then click on Offline. Here you may choose your startup mode - online or offline. If you like to work offline, it is important to keep your local drive consistent with the network (synchronized). When going offline, Communicator can synchronize the folders, newsgroups, and directories you select to be copied locally. When you reconnect to the Internet, Communicator automatically synchronizes any changes you made offline.
- Choose whether you wish to start Netscape Communicator in online or offline mode.
- Choose how you would like your unsent messages handled upon going online.
- Choose whether or not you wish to synchronize your messages when exiting Communicator.
Click on Download, and choose your settings for reading messages offline.
If you want to read messages offline, you must select them first. To do this, click the Select button, highlight the newsgroup(s)that you want to download, and then click the OK button.
