Internet Explorer 3.0x and AT&T Worldnet Service
This document contains instructions for configuring Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 with the AT&T Worldnet Service. The most important thing to confirm before you start is that you are using the proper version of Internet Explorer for your operating system. These instructions are for configuring Internet Explorer 3.02 for Win95 and NT 4.0. Your version configuration might be slightly different or not include all steps presented here.
Configuration
- After you install Internet Explorer, right-click the The Internet icon on your desktop, choose Connection Settings, and then click the Connection tab. There will be a drop-down box there with all your Internet dial-up providers. Choose AT&T Worldnet Service, and click the Apply button.
- Next, click the Navigation tab. Under the Customize section, make sure the top box says Start Page. In the Address box, type http://www.worldnet.att.netand then click the OK button.
- Double-click the The Internet icon to connect to AT&T Worldnet Service.
